There are many lovely walks and hikes , suitable for the entire family and lots of wonderful places to go out on day tours e.g. The Knysna Elephant Park, Birds Of Eden, Monkeyland, Tenikwa, Dolphin & Whale watching or Swim with the Seals.

Classic Car enthusiasts will enjoy the Knysna Speed Festival and the annual Motor show held in George. Classic Cars in Sedgefield has become quite the tourist attraction with their collection of classic cars. The Garden Route is such a scenic area and draws many motorcycle enthusiasts who enjoy cruising the gentle hills, forests and ocean drives.

The entire Garden Route is a Golfer's paradise and you are spoiled for choice to play on so many world-class golf courses. Visit Simola, Pezula and Knysna Golf Club in Knysna, Fancourt in George and Goose Valley in Plettenberg Bay. There are also many mashie courses where you can test your golfing skills.
