A town going orange!

A town in the Garden Route will be going orange! It's that time of year again and Sedgefield will be celebrating the SLOW FESTIVAL with gusto!

Remember when people had fun without television, cell phones and computers? When kids could ride bikes and play outdoors all day? Well, the Slow Festival is all about having fun the old-fashioned way. Celebrating the great outdoors in and around the seaside town of Sedgefield, the Slow Festival includes a wide range of fantastic events and activities for all ages and interests.

Sedgefield was declared Africa’s first Cittaslow Town in October 2010. Inspired by the concept of ‘slow food’, Cittaslow is a worldwide membership organization promoting quality of life and resisting fast-lane lifestyle.

Visit this page for more info about all of the fun events planned for the festival!

Apart from the Slow Festival, it is a busy time of year in the Garden Route - with lots of fun to be had.
